A tragic car accident occurred early Wednesday on the Nassau Expressway in Queens, resulting in the death of a 25-year-old man from the Bronx. The incident took place near Exit 3 at North Hangar Road, not far from John F. Kennedy International Airport.
According to police reports, the driver, identified as Andre Beadle, was operating a 2023 BMW at a high rate of speed when he lost control of the vehicle. Authorities stated that the car veered off the road to the right and subsequently struck a light pole. The impact caused the vehicle to spin back onto the left side of the roadway.
First responders arrived at the scene shortly after the accident and found Beadle ejected from the car, lying on the ground. Paramedics quickly transported him to Jamaica Hospital in an attempt to save his life; however, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
Police confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the crash, and there were no additional injuries reported. The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deadly accident is ongoing.
