Bicycle accidents are a significant concern nationwide, with thousands of individuals either killed or seriously injured each year. Data from the National Safety Council indicates an alarming trend: the number of preventable deaths resulting from bicycle transportation incidents increased by 10% in 2022, with a staggering 47% rise over the past decade, from 925 fatalities in 2013 to 1,360 in 2022.
